Abstract:
As a crucial component of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Digital Silk Road (DSR) is an innovative practice in the digital economy era. Its core goal is to promote global cooperation and development. Its historical evolution has gradually been enhanced from the early-stage layout of the BRI. This has led to the formation of a comprehensive framework encompassing digital infrastructure construction, digital technology application, and digital governance innovation. By establishing a community of prosperity and a vast market for the digital economy, we can create a powerful engine for growth. This initiative is key to fully unleashing the potential of the digital economy among BRI participant countries. Additionally, it establishes a fair and reasonable mechanism for benefit distribution, ensuring that the outcomes of digital cooperation benefit all parties involved. Ultimately, the construction of the DSR leads the way towards a new form of digitally-driven globalization, achieving the goal of shared prosperity.
