Abstract:
The educator ethos and teachers’ professional development (TPD) possess inherent integration. The connotation of the ethos follows a logical sequence of three stages: initial, intermediate, and final. Empowering TPD with the ethos involves interpreting the rationale of conceptual reshaping, goal integration, and emotional resonance embedded within it. A multi-faceted approach to empowering TPD can be established through several key avenues. This involves, first, setting the focal direction by strengthening ideals and convictions. Second, it requires enhancing the necessary subjective qualities through the cultivation of loft character. Third, solidifying the foundation for action is achieved by emphasizing diligent study. Finally, long-term effectiveness is ensured by nurturing benevolent qualities. This integrated framework ultimately facilitates the growth of teachers into paragons of virtue and learning who cultivate talents with moral integrity in the new era.
