Abstract:
The establishment of the institute for traditional Chinese culture of calligraphy and paintings (TCCCP) through university-local government collaboration provides new insights for student cultivation of culture of calligraphy and painting. The scientifically efficient cooperation mechanism formed plays a significant role in improving the quality of student cultivation of TCCCP. Based on the innovative inheritance of Bashu culture, the institute focuses on the curriculum system which is characterized with university-local government integration, teaching-research community, and on the student cultivation model of government-industry-university-research-application progressive integration. By doing so, we establish one institute, three platforms, three mechanisms, and implement the collaborative linkage with one body and two wings. By discovering, protecting, inheriting, and disseminating excellent traditional Chinese culture, we construct a philosophical and social science system with Chinese characteristics and Bashu style. Therefore, a series of classic cultural projects on campus are formed. The projects highlight cultural traditions and characteristics of local calligraphy and paintings, inheritance and development, and integrate morals and values, education, contemporaneity, and artistry. As a result, continuous industry-education integration can be advanced and student cultivation can be enhanced.
