Abstract:
The integration of local excellent traditional culture (LETC) into comprehensive education of morals and values (CEMV) is closely related to the construction of new liberal arts. The integration manifests in three aspects: the interdisciplinary integration, the developmental nature of the inheritance and innovation of excellent traditional culture, and the homology of cultivating students through culture. The discourse effectiveness of morals and values education (MVE) can be enhanced by the integration, and educational and teaching reforms of MVE can be promoted. Moreover, the flourishing development of LETC can be fostered. However, challenges persist, such as lack of attention, inadequate coordination and collaboration among stakeholders, and outdated educational methods. This integration requires the following fours aspects. Firstly, we adopt the Marxist perspectives to discern the application of LETC. Secondly, we construct a comprehensive framework of education among different subjects. Thirdly, we innovate teaching methods in CEMV. Fourthly, we strengthen the construction of the teaching staff.
