    On TAO Xingzhi’s Philosophy of Ecological Education

    • 摘要: 陶行知生态教育思想是陶行知教育思想的精华,是建设未来生态文明社会、实现中华民族伟大复兴的精神财富。根据生态教育的理论内涵与实践特征,陶行知生态教育思想可以概括为教育目的的生境性、教育内容的有机性、教育过程的生长性等。在中国生态文明社会建设的伟大实践中,彰显陶行知生态教育思想有助于培养生态人、创建生态学校、创设生态课程和营造生态社会。

       

      Abstract: TAO Xingzhi’s philosophy of ecological education (PEE) represents the essence of his educational thought. PEE constitutes cultural-ethical advancement for constructing a ecological civilization in future, and for realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Based on the theoretical connotations and practical characteristics of ecological education, TAO’s philosophy can be summarized through three key aspects: the habitat-oriented purpose of education, the organic nature of educational content, and the growth-oriented process of education. In the practice of building ecological civilization in China, highlighting Tao’s PEE contributes to the cultivation of eco-citizens, the establishment of ecological schools, the creation of ecological curricula, and the development of an ecological society.
