Abstract: HE Xun’s poems received great acclaim during the Liang Dynasty and possessed a captivating artistic charm that had a lasting influence on future generations. HE Xun’s farewell poems are both exquisitely beautiful and deeply moving, showcasing remarkable achievements in terms of diction, syntax, composition, and the evocation of imagery. He made significant contributions to the artistic development of landscape and lyrical poetry in the Medieval China. In the present day, it is essential to fully explore the emotional, literary, and aesthetic values of HE’s farewell poems, guided by the initiative that poetry can cultivate the masses.
