Abstract:
As an important part of tourism products, the catering for tourist groups plays an active role in promoting the overall service quality of tourism products in the era of mass tourism.Taking the catering service for Sichuan tourist groups as the object of the empirical study, the article analyzed the tourists’ perception of the importance and satisfaction degree of the catering service in accommodating touring groups in Sichuan by means of IPA method, involving aspects like the dining environment, quality of dishes, dining service and dining arrangement.The results indicate that the overall quality of the dishes is the key factor deciding the satisfaction degree of the tourists towards the catering service, on the basis of which some measures are proposed to improve the tourists’ satisfaction towards catering for tourist groups so as to improve the quality of tourism products in Sichuan.
