摘要: 在太赫兹波通信系统中, 太赫兹调制器是关键器件之一.文章从晶体材料和太赫兹波的理论出发, 研究了晶体材料对太赫兹波的调制特性, 数值模拟了太赫兹波的调频、调幅、调相效果, 并给出晶体材料实现最佳调制效果所满足的物理条件, 阐述了晶体材料对太赫兹波调制的物理本质.本文所得结果对制作高效太赫兹波调制器件具有实际应用指导意义.Abstract: Terahertz modulator is one of the key devices in Terahertz communication system.Based on the crystal materials and Terahertz wave theory, an examination is made of the modulation characteristics of crystal materials in modulating the terahertz wave, and a numerical simulation is conducted to find out about the modulating effects of the frequency, amplitude and phase upon the terahertz wave.Some physical conditions for these crystal materials to give the best modulating performance are presented.The results thus obtained can be of some directive function in the design of high efficiency terahertz modulator.
