Abstract: The work An Introduction to General Catalogue of Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature is a master piece concerning the studies of classic bibliography.The criticism of poetry-comment works of various dynasties in the category of“commentaries on poetry and articles”has reflected the poetic concepts and academic thoughts of the compilers of Complete Library in the Four Branches of Literature to some extent.For the poems and articles of Ming Dynasty, only six of them have been collected into the catalogue of the orthodox literature, and more than forty of them in the catalogue for storage.These compilers’ commentaries on the poetry-comment works and their judgment on these commentators are all shown in the introduction.
