Abstract: To find out about the general situation of undergraduates in southern Sichuan concerning their knowledge, attitude and behavior toward the prevention and control of pulmonary TB, the self-developed questionnaire of College Students’ pulmonary tuberculosis knowledge was used to survey a sampling of 600 undergraduates of five universities in South Sichuan, and 587 valid questionnaires were collected.It is found that the overall project knowledge awareness rate was 70.47%;the overall rate of students holding the correct attitude was 84.87%;the overall correct behavior rate was 70.07%.The results showed that the undergraduates of southern Sichuan area have attained a rather good level in TB prevention and treatment attitude, yet in terms of knowledge required by the state, the rate fails to reach the national level of 85%, indicating that relevant publicity effort and education job should be reinforced;in terms of behavior acquisition and active participation in publicity campaign and daily behavior much remains to be done on the part of college students.
