Abstract: In the academic circle, there exist controversies about the verb class of“V”and noun class of the whole phrase“N de V”.From the metaphorical pattern of cognitive linguistics, we can find that the process of this phrase has two phases.Firstly, metaphorically, the verb V is taken into some object or it space accompanied, and its dynamic nature is then be internalized as the N’s something or its spatial state.Secondly, in the object or its space system accompanied, the dynamic nature of the verb V (transitive) is switched visually in reference framework, and the whole phrase will show its noun function.
