Abstract:
The adaptation of ancient novels and traditional operas has been an important feature and aspect of content in the history of novels’ exchange, communication and development, and has been called“transplanting”. Though novels and tra- ditional operas belong to two different branches of arts, they share the same narrative style, and they are closely related. Therefore, in the course of their communication, they have used each other for reference and been adapted mutually. This
makes the story of the same subject and content develop vastly in different forms, which leads to the prosperity of their own. It has been one of the features of novels in their development.
