Abstract: In his A Collection of Random Thoughts, BA Jin showed his nostalgia of his deceased friends as well as his critical spearhead through description of friendship. In the articles in memory of his Japanese friends, he took some reflections of himself and some national culture from his own perspective. His debt-paying psychology and much description of friend- ship have reflected the spiritual dilemma of modern intellectuals.
