Abstract:
An investigation is done to find out about Higher Vocational College Students' sense of the meaning of life level and characteristics, so as to provide a basis for improving the level of College Students' mental health. Using the random sampling method,240 students in grades 1 to 3 from the Higher Vocational Colleges of China West Normal University were surveyed with the College Students' Sense of the Life Meaning Scale. The scores of Testees are found to concentrate in the lower range of scores; In the dimensions of the meaning of life scores, quality of life, life goals and free life,girls scored significantly higher than boys, and the difference was statistically significant; The difference between life freedom in the grades is significant; in terms of the value of life, rural students scored significantly higher than city students; whether the student is an only child or not does not exert an effect on the student's perception of the meaning of life. The overall sense of meaning of life among students in higher vocational colleges is generally at a rather low level, and is affected by gender, grade, the source place from which a student comes.
