Abstract: The opening of the military course at universities is an important measurement for strengthening the reserve construction of national defense. The fundamental purpose of its teaching is to improve university students' political and military quality. To adapt to the new situation and tasks, establish the concept of military power and guarantee the healthy development of military course at universities, we should enhance the construction of teaching staff of theoretical military course, innovate the military technique training, make the military net course play its role in the teaching, strengthen the cultural construction of both local and university culture, and intensify the education of military course.
