    新背景下人文地理与城乡规划专业城市地理学教学改革

    Teaching Reform on Urban Geography Course of Human Geography&Urban-Rural Planning Majors under the New Situation

    • 摘要: 城市地理学是人文地理与城乡规划专业的核心课程.当前该课程教学中存在的4个问题是:教学内容相对陈旧,内容更新缓慢; 重理论教学,轻实践教学和方法论教学; 案例选择不恰当,案例教学存在较多问题; 现有教材存在较多不足。为此分析了新背景下经济社会发展形式对城市地理学教学提出的新要求,进而从更新教学理念、优化理论教学内容、构建课程内外结合的实践教学环节、积极推行“一案贯穿式”案例教学4个方面提出了基于能力本位的城市地理学立体式教学改革的设想。

       

      Abstract: Urban geography is the core course of the human geography & urban- rural planning. A review was made of the existing problems faced with the current teaching in urban geography:(1)The teaching content is too old and updated too slow;(2)Too much emphasis laid on theories and inadequate attention put on the practical teaching and methodology teaching;(3)improper choice of teaching cases and problematic case teaching being too many(4)The existing teaching materials are blamed for having too many shortcomings. In view of the above-mentioned problems, some suggestions were put forth according to the demands arising from the new situation concerning the teaching of urban geography:(1)to renew our teaching concept;(2)to optimize the theoretical teaching content;(3)to construct an in-and-out-of-classroom practice teaching system;(4)to actively promote case teaching which uses one case from beginning to end.
