Abstract:
While modernity drives the modernization rapidly, its paradox has caused the arrogation of material over spirit and squeeze of reality over ideals. The clouds interwoven by the market economy, popular culture and nihilism have coved the idealist light and brought about the spiritual atrophy and lost ideals of modern peoples, which lead to their wandering mind and spiritual homelessness. The socialist modernization needs a kind of healthy utopia spirit to encourage people to face up to the reality and find problems with criticism and transcendence. And hence they explore the road from the reality to their ideals in the relations between tradition and modernity, material and spirit, and experience and transcendence.
