Abstract: Light, shape and color are the three fundamental elements of lantern art. And sound and movement are the derived elements which are to adapt to the development of such art. The sound imitation and the movement control have a long history and various ways and they reflect the progress in science and technology in certain time and the improvement of the manufacturing art. They have met the increasing aesthetic expectation and demand of watchers. The successful sound imitation and movement control are not the mechanical combination of science and technology and art, but the integration of science and technology into art and hence the better service for art.
