Abstract: The popularization of net Chinese is closely related with the fact that its transmission is in accordance with the economic principle of language. Though there exist a large number of homophones in popular net Chinese, the quotation, transformation, shortened forms, compounding, derivatives and blending of non-Chinese words in the Chinese net language, we usually follow the economic principle of language.
