Abstract: ZHANG Zhi-dong wrote his sister works Words in Room Youxuan and Answers to Questions on Bibliography when he was a cultural official in Sichuan. The former is around the ways of reading and doing research, while the latter focuses on the ways of learning. The publication of the latter opened a new field for the bibliographical works, which is still significant for the ways of choosing the ancient Chinese works and the study of bibliography and origin of books.
