Abstract:
Based on the inter-provincial panel data of the Yellow River Basin from 2011 to 2020, the coupled coordination model was constructed to measure the coupling relationship between new urbanization and rural revitalization, and the interactive response mechanism between new urbanization and rural revitalization was analyzed using the PVAR model. The results show that the coupling coordination degree of new urbanization and rural revitalization in the Yellow River Basin is on the rise steadily and in the transitional development category, showing a trend of gradual decline from east to west. The role of new urbanization in promoting rural revitalization is greater than that of rural revitalization in promoting new urbanization, and the mechanism for promoting and advancing each other needs to be strengthened. Accordingly, the paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of urban and rural areas in the Yellow River Basin.
