Abstract: The new media of government affairs is a focus of the mass line implemented via Internet, and an important embodiment of the modernization for the system and capacity of China’s governance. It is an important carrier to collect the opinions of the mass and the feedback of the Chinese people’s conditions, understand the public opinion and gather the wisdom of the people for the implementation of the mass line via Internet by China’s government. In addition, it helps enhance the transparency of the government affairs, build a "dual field" to remove the communication barriers between the government and the people, and release and disseminate latest information by the government. It is an important medium to improve the communication between the government and people. At the government level, the new media of government affairs is an important platform to deepen and solidify the mass line via Internet. It helps to strengthen the government’s sense of responsibility for serving the people, innovate the efficient service methods of the government, and improve the efficiency of the government’s services. It is fully applied to many aspects of the implementation of the mass line via Internet. In the process of the implementation, the Communist Party of China and the government make use of the new media of government affairs to constantly deepen the inquiry of advice on the government affairs from the people in terms of space and time.
