Abstract: The restore and backup operation of the computers in multi-media classrooms is a very important task in the maintenance of multimedia facilities. The traditional backup and restore operation tends to result in problems like frequent failures of computers, dissatisfactory reductive effect and longer recovery time, etc. Nevertheless, universal restore technology can be employed to solve such problems. The paper gives an introduction to the functions and features of Acronis Backup & Recovery 11, and elaborates on the advantages of using the technology of disk image and bare computer recovery to quickly and completely restore the whole system. Based on practical application, the paper classifies and expounds on the operational methods of employing the software Acronis Backup & Recovery 11 to maintain the computers in multimedia classrooms, and proves that it can meet the requirements for the recovery and backup of the computers in multimedia classrooms.
